Solar Valley Ethiopia. Here will take place the training, products will be developed, tested and assembled. The
Solar Valley Ethiopia is to become the development center in both senses of the word for the Ethiopian Solar handcraft. Because sustainable development, economically and socially, is more than the "supply" of light. People want to be connected to the world's information by the radio. They want to cool their drinks and charge their mobile phones. They want to witness events on the TV like the World Cup and follow African news. They want to dance and to be untertained. The solar technology must be able to afford all that. It must face these challenges, in order to help the people. The Solar Valley Ethiopia is to become a center of excellence for the further development and practicality of solar technology. So that the know-how remains in Ethiopia
