Meyer Burger Technology Ltd is one of the world’s leading providers of innovative systems and production lines for photovoltaics in the solar industry. Meyer Burger has invited its customers to support the work of the Stiftung Solarenergie - Solar Energy Foundation with an online Christmas quiz . The generous donation will be used for the "Light for Education" program to equip a school with solar light. This benefits approximately 1,000 children and many parents in the evening classes.

The Buildings Business of Schneider Electric has decided to renouce Christmas gifts in favor of the people of Ethiopia. The project "Light for Education" in Ethiopia will be supported by a generous donation . We thank the company Schneider Electric, and all the staff very much!

The working group "Eine Welt" Teningen donated to the Stiftung Solarenergie its solar power harvesting for both programs "Light for Education" and "Training of solar technicians". This commitment was presented with a small exhibition to the congregation.

The campaign SOLARFRIEND offered little bracelets as mascot for Solarenergie. With the purchase of the bracelets, you could support one of three solar projects. www.solarfriend.de

Natascha and Andreas Kettenacker had come up with a very special idea for the village fete in Großharbach in summer 2006: they sold home-baked flat bread and straw chickens. The campaign was held under the motto "Bread for Ethiopia" ("Brot für Äthiopien"). The straw chickens could be purchased or produced in a worshop under expert guidance.

The proceeds inured to the benefit of the projects of the Stiftung Solarenergie. At the end, family Kettenacker was able to donate 1.500 Euro. Thank you!

On his 50th birthday, a sponsor from Fulda wished that his guests donate to the projects of the Stiftung Solarenergie. In total 1.100 Euro were raised, which are now used for the installation of solar systems in Ethiopia. Thanks you for this!
